
JEFFERSON COUNTY, IL (WSIL) -- The temperatures will be cool this weekend, and sometimes there's nothing better than warming up by the campfire.Â
The is holding a Candlelight Walk. Organizers say you can experience life by candlelight, campfire, and blacksmith's forge.Â
Those who come out can enjoy cookies and cider while they walk through the village. Along the way, costumed interpreters will share about the area's past.Â
There will also be some group sing alongs by the campfire.Â
This event is Saturday, November 2nd from 5-7 p.m. Admission is free but donations are encouraged.Â
