CARBONDALE (WSIL) - The Carbondale Fire Department is issuing a warning about a scam going around the area that targets your phone.
They say if you receive a text from an unknown number that claims to be offering a discount on Fire Department T-shirts, you should ignore it.
The shirts being sold do have the department's patch on them, but they are not affiliated with the Carbondale Fire Department.
