MARION, Ill., (WSIL) -- The Marion Chamber of Commerce will host a leadership development program on October 24, 2024, and organizers say, it is unlike any other skill building event in the area. Apogee is a longstanding program that includes continuing education credits, as well as a good "refresher" on leadership skills and an opportunity for networking.

According to organizers, the program is also meant to motivate groups/employees through the final quarter of the year. The strategies introduced should help invigorate the workforce, as well as drive new skills.

The two guest speakers will be Jess DaSilva and Brittany Dawson, who are said to draw from their travels and experiences and share them back in southern Illinois. You'll also hear from their "Local Leader Panel," comprised of more than 100 years of experience. The local panel includes Roman Basi, William Davis, Bernadette Engram and Goldie Robinson.

Apogee is set from 8 a.m. through 3 p.m. at the Pavilion in Marion. You can find more information or register at:
