Alex Watkins, the Economic Development Coordinator for Harrisburg, says there has been a real need in the community for a helping hand.
"This has been a passion project of mine. I own a small business, but I'm not benefiting from this. But I have seen the impact it has left in our community, with some of our small businesses closed for 3 months really makes an impact on their standing in the community," said Watkins.
The money was distributed to 22 different small businesses.
