LAKE OF EGYPT, Ill. -- More than a thousand were out of power in southern Illinois on Sunday night and into Monday morning.
According to , hundreds were out of power in Johnson, Williamson and Jackson Counties on the night of June 16. Power to most of these customers have since been restored.
Southeastern Illinois Electric Cooperative reported 636 power outages in Johnson County and 552 out in Williamson County at around 10 p.m. on Sunday night.
Ameren reported 158 out of power in Jackson County as of 10:09 p.m.
Ozark Border Electric reported 47 out of power in Wayne County, Missouri, as of 10:20 p.m.
On Monday morning, only 13 Ameren electric customers remained out in Jackson County as of 8:58 a.m.
