CAPE GIRARADEAU, Mo. (WSIL) -- The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri and Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department and Foundation will be hosting Pop-Up Movies.
The pop-up movies are free and open to the public.
Everyone is invited to bring their blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers and to find a place on the grass to enjoy the show.
There will be food trucks available to purchase items.
Activities for all ages will begin at 8:00 p.m. The featured movies will start at 9:00 p.m.
The themes and movies selection this year includes:
- Christmas in July: Elf, July 10 at Kiwanis Park
- 80's Night: The Goonies, July 31 at Kiwanis Park
- Animation night: Trolls, August 7 at the Shawnee Park Soccer Fields
- Superhero Night: Spiderman Homecoming, August 21 at the Shawnee Park Softball Fields
