Family Dollar replacing IGA in Carterville

Borowiak's IGA announces closure of Carterville store

CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- The City of Carterville has announced what business will replace the locally owned grocery store. 

Borowiak's IGA will be replaced by Family Dollar on S. Division Street. 

There isn't a timeline for the store to open, but the City says they will share that information as it becomes available. 

Borowiak's announced they would permanently close their grocery store by the end of August.Â
