...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON CDT /1 PM EDT/ TODAY TO
7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values 100 to 108 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...From noon CDT /1 PM EDT/ today to 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/
Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The first prolonged stretch of heat and
humidity of the season will amplify health impacts. Health impacts
will build with each successive day in the heat and humidity.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet coming soon to West Frankfort

(WSIL) -- A popular national discount store is coming to southern Illinois.

Ollie's Bargain Outlet is expected to set up shop in the former K-Mart building in West Frankfort. A sign has been placed on the building façade and numerous job opportunities have been posted on the Open positions include but are not limited to Assistant Manager, Sales Supervisors, and Sales Associates.

Ollie's says you'll find thousands of bargains all under one roof. An opening date has yet to be announced.
