(WSIL) -- A Kentucky company is recalling about 762,615 pounds of frozen pepperoni Hot Pockets. Officials believe they may contaminated with pieces of glass and hard plastic.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service made the Saturday.
The USDA says it's a Class I recall which means the product has a reasonable possibility of causing serious adverse health consequences or death.

The affected products are in 54-ounce carton packages produced between November 13 through November 16, 2020.

The packages contain 12 Nestle 'Hot Pockets Brand Sandwiches: Premium Pepperoni'. The products have a 'BEST BEFORE FEB 2022' date and lot codes 0318544624, 0319544614, 0320544614 and 0321544614.

The products also contain the establishment number 'EST. 7721A' inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The problem was discovered after workers at Nestle Prepared Foods in Mt. Sterling, Ky. received four consumer complaints.
Consumers are advised not to eat the product and to throw it away or take it to the place of purchase for a refund.
