CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- Tuesday was another nice day with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures. Highs climbed up into the low to mid 80s across the region. The quiet conditions will continue overnight, with lows dipping into the 50s by morning.Â
Most of the week will be very nice. High temperatures both Wednesday and Thursday will be comfortable, topping out in the mid to upper 70s. The humidity will also be low with northwest winds. Perfect outdoor weather.Â
Our next chance for rain is set to arrive Friday evening. Most of the day will be dry. Once the rain chance returns, off and on rain is likely through the weekend. Enjoy the break while it lasts.Â
