Evansville man convicted of two murders sentenced to 110 years

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) � Another suspect in a double-murder investigation out of Evansville has been sentenced to prison.

John Parker was sentenced to prison on Tuesday after of two counts of murder by a jury.

Tuesday, Parker was sentenced to serve 110 years in prison - 55 years each for the murders of Michael Blankenship Jr. and Mitchell Greathouse.

Parker was among three men arrested in connection to the murders of the two victims, after their bodies were discovered at a home on Mount Vernon Avenue.

Also sentenced in the same case was Caden Harms, after pleading guilty to two counts of murder.

The third man charged in connection to the two murders, Richard Garrett, is waiting for his next court date in August.
