Former Mayfield/Graves County Chamber of Commerce President Indicted on Theft

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- The former Mayfield/Graves County Chamber of Commerce President has been indicted for unlawful theft, the Kentucky Attorney General announced on Thursday.

Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman announced the Attorney General's Special Prosecutions took action which resulted in the indictment of Allison Morris, 47 of Graves County, accusing her from stealing from the Mayfield/Graves County Chamber of Commerce.

Morris is the former chamber president in Mayfield/Graves County. She was indicted by the Graves County Grand Jury on Tuesday, May 21, for one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition, Greater than $10,000 but Less than $1 Million.

Kentucky State Police investigated the case.

An arraignment was scheduled by the Graves County Circuit Court for June 3, 2024.
