GRAVES CO., KY (WSIL) -- Multiple agencies pursued a reckless driver in Graves County Thursday night.
It started around 11 p.m. in the Pryorsburg area.
Sheriff's deputies and Kentucky State Police tried to stop a Chevrolet pickup that eventually fled south on U.S. Highway 45 toward Wingo.
During the pursuit the driver hit a Kentucky State Trooper's vehicle while on KY 339.
That pickup was found abandoned in a muddy field. Troopers tracked the driver to a home in the 4000 block of Pritchard Road. A male juvenile was taken into custody.
He now faces the following charges from Kentucky State Police:
- (Attempted) murder of a police officer
- Criminal mischief
- Wanton endangerment (two counts)
- Fleeing or evading
The juvenile is now in the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center. He also faces separate charges in Graves County.
