WOODLAWN, Ill. (WSIL) -- A man was recently arrested and faces child pornography and unlawful grooming charges in Jefferson County.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said on December 13, at 7:51 p.m., deputies arrested Christopher Richardson, 30 of Woodlawn, in regards to a Jefferson County warrant for child pornography and unlawful grooming charges.
The sheriff's office said an investigation started on September 28 after a cybertip was sent to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The sheriff's office said the tip alleged solicitation involving a minor for nude photos.
Multiple search warrants were issued and served on the suspect's accounts, electronic devices and his home.
