...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Peak daily heat index values up to around 105 degrees.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Friday.

* IMPACTS...Prolonged hot temperatures and high humidity may cause
heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Man Faces Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child Charges in Williamson County

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. -- A man faces predatory criminal sexual assault of a child charges after a report of allegations of inappropriate contact.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said investigators served a warrant on April 30 to Clint G. Russell for two counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child Under Age 13. He was served the warrant at a home in Jackson County.

The sheriff's office said this was an extensive investigation which started on March 23. This investigation started after a report alleging there was some inappropriate contact.

Russell was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
