PADUCAH, Ky. -- UPDATE: The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said Gregory Munsell is now in custody. This comes roughly 18 hours after he was reportedly wanted for escape.
Munsell was taken into custody by the Paducah Police Department and was located in the Lone Oak area.
ORIGINAL: April 15, 9:29 p.m. -- Authorities are looking for a man who they believe is wanted for an escape in western Kentucky.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Office learned of a suspicious vehicle in the 1400-block of Ogden Landing Road in McCracken County on Monday evening.
After investigating, the sheriff's office said there was a wanted person in the area on foot which was believed to be connected to the abandoned vehicle.
The sheriff's office reported Gregory Munsell, 30 of Princeton, Kentucky, was last seen in the area on foot around 7:15 p.m. He is 5'11" tall, weighing 174 pounds, has brown medium cut hair with a light colored facial hair on his chin. He was also described as wearing short denim pants and a button up.

The sheriff's office said he has previous charges for burglary and theft and is currently wanted on an escape charge. He was reportedly serving time on charges of Escape 2nd in 2014, Criminal Mischief 1st degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st, Receiving stolen property O/$300.
The sheriff's office said his full name is Gregory Shane Munsell but also may go by Shane. Authorities also says he has an alias of Brandon Stallins.Â
