MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) -- This week is National Crime Victims Rights Week. It's designed to help victims of all types of crimes.

The Marshall County Resiliency Center is working to explain and honor the victim's plights.

The center provides victims and their families specialized resources and services. Throughout the week, they're hoping to honor victims by bringing awareness to their unique experiences.

The center said they help victims of all types of crimes including stalking, burglary, and domestic violence.

"Those are just to name a few of the crimes that exist and often go overlooked because they are not they are not on those same levels as we think often times as sexual assault or domestic violence. But they are crimes," said Jayna Burkey, Coordinator at the Resiliency Center.

For victims of a crime living in Kentucky, you can contact the Marshall County Resiliency Center, who said they have multiple resources to help with recovery.
