* WHAT...Heat index values up to 108 expected.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Murray woman arrested for stealing thousands from elderly resident

MURRAY, Ky (WSIL) -- A Murray, Kentucky woman is in custody for stealing from an elderly resident.

On Wednesday the Murray Police Dept. began an investigation into a possible theft from an elderly person.

Detective learned Jessica Crouch, 40, stole over $25,000 from the individual's bank account.

Crouch was charged with 4 counts of Forgery 2nd Degree, 4 counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking over $500, and 4 counts of Knowingly Exploiting an Adult over $300; she was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
