PERRY CO. (WSIL) -- An undercover federal agent helped lead to federal charges against Brandon L. Mohr, of Pinckneyville, for attempted enticement of a minor.
According to federal court documents, that undercover agent posted an ad on Craigslist on March 23.
On April 2, Mohr responded to that ad and started communicating via email about sexual interactions with children.
According to the documents, Mohr agreed to meet up with the person he'd been talking with online and that person's 8-year-old child at a business in Marion.
Mohr told federal agents who arrested him there that he intended to have sexual contact with that 8-year-old.
He's now charged with one count attempted enticement of a minor.
Mohr is due in federal court at 11 a.m. on April 30.
