PERRYVILLE, MO (WSIL) -- Investigators say a woman accused of stealing items from a dollar store in Perryville led officers on a 15 mile chase through multiple counties.
It started around 8:15 p.m. Saturday at the Dollar Tree at Perry Plaza. Police say Christine Rena Price , 45, of St. Mary tried left the store without paying for items.
When confronted by an officer in the parking lot she sped off. Investigators say she nearly hit that officer.
The chase continued into St. Genevieve County where Price left the roadway to avoid spike strips.
During the chase Price's car nearly hit a Perry County Sheriff's Patrol Vehicle.
Investigators say eventually Price stopped her car and took off running before being arrested.
She now faces stealing and resisting arrest charges.
