(WSIL) -- A Texas man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a body in a plastic container on Kentucky Lake Saturday.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) says Jeffery Rogers, 60, of Arlington, Texas, was arrested by Texas Rangers in Fort Worth Tuesday afternoon.
Rogers is charged in Tennessee with one count of abuse of a corpse and one count of tampering with evidence.
of Granbury, Texas, was found over the weekend near Colson Hollow in western Kentucky. An autopsy confirmed Jones' cause of death was homicide.
Investigators say Rogers rented a boat in Paris, Tennessee to dispose of Jones� body in Kentucky Lake.
Rogers' bond is set at $1 million as he awaits extradition to Tennessee.
The TBI said the homicide investigation is ongoing.
