...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Peak daily heat index values up to around 105 degrees.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Friday.

* IMPACTS...Prolonged hot temperatures and high humidity may cause
heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Three wanted out of Franklin County for theft, forgery and drug charges

BENTON, Ill. -- Authorities are looking for three people wanted out of Franklin County who face felony charges.

Cody V. Bales

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office are alerting the public to not approach these individuals as some could be considered armed and/or dangerous.

Cody V. Bales, 26, is wanted on a failure to appear warrant for driving under the influence. He was last known to be living in the area of Benton.

Caleb R. Grant

Caleb R. Grant, 33, is wanted for forgery and theft out of Franklin County. Grant was last known to be living in the West Frankfort area.

Devon L. Dace, 24, is wanted for two counts of theft out of Franklin County. He was last know to be living in the Zeigler area. (No photo for Dace)
