PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- Two people face multiple charges after police say they found them walking in the street, running away from officers and had outstanding warrants.
The Paducah Police Department said on November 8, at around 2:32 p.m., in the 2300-block of Center Street, an officer saw a man and woman walking in the middle of the road. After the officer was getting out of her vehicle, police said the two ran away.
Police in Paducah said one officer later found Katherine Lapierre who was hiding behind an air conditioning unit. Police said she then ran away again but was caught nearby in the 2300-block of Center Street. Police then said they found a loaded pistol in her jacket, along with what they suspect was methamphetamine in her purse.
Officers also found Ned Conner who they said was hiding underneath a porch and was not in compliance with the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry and had warrants out for him.

Ned Conner, 43 of Paducah charges...
- Failure to Comply with Sex Offender
- Registration and Hitchhiking- Disregarding Traffic Regulation by Pedestrian
- Warrants from McCracken County
Both Lapierre and Conner were taken to the McCracken County Jail.
