...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Peak daily heat index values up to around 105 degrees.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Friday.

* IMPACTS...Prolonged hot temperatures and high humidity may cause
heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Two wanted in Williamson County

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. -- Authorities are looking for two people who are wanted on charges in Williamson County.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office alerted the public on Wednesday, February 26, about the two individuals.

Shad Wagster, 56 of Herrin, is wanted on a Meth Delivery <5 Grams charge. He is 6'1" tall, weighing 225 lbs. with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Jarid Wilkie, 49 of Herrin, is wanted on a Theft/Control <$500/Prior charge. He is 5'11" tall, weighing 205 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes.
