7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values 100 to 108 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...From noon CDT /1 PM EDT/ today to 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/
Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The first prolonged stretch of heat and
humidity of the season will amplify health impacts. Health impacts
will build with each successive day in the heat and humidity.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Williamson County authorities search for two suspects

Authorities search for two wanted suspects out of Williamson County

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WSIL) � The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for information on two wanted suspects. 

46-year-old Linda Cuchna of Marion is wanted on a meth trafficking charge. 

Deputies say Cuchna is a white female, 5'3" in height, with brown hair and brown eyes. 

The sheriff's office is also looking for 35-year-old Darren Logan of Herrin who is wanted on an aggravated battery charge.. 

He is described by authorities to be 5'11" with brown hair and brown eyes. 

Authorities ask that any information on the suspect's whereabouts be directed to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office at 618-997-6541. The public can also submit an anonymous tip on the app.
