Zeigler man faces multiple charges, accused of trespassing and burglary

ZEIGLER, Ill. (WSIL) -- A 47-year-old faces charges after authorities respond to a call of someone entering a home on Monday.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said a resident in Benton called 911 which stated someone entered their home and then ran away. This was on the evening of October 14.

Deputies quickly responded to the home. The sheriff's office said deputies saw the person matching the caller's description near the home and on the caller's property.

The sheriff's office said Rudolph C. Bramlett, 47 of Zeigler, was the suspect. Bramlett was taken into custody and faces charges of Residential Burglary, Criminal Trespass to a Residence and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Bramlett was taken to the Franklin County Jail.
