Early morning fire causes severe damage to a West Frankfort home

Crews battle early morning house fire

WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. (WSIL) � Central dispatch confirmed to News 3 that a call cam in around 2:19 a.m. Monday for a structure fire on Clark Street. 

The massive blaze saw the response of multiple fire crews. 

The home was considered a total loss. 

Crews on scene tell News 3 no one was home at the time of the fire. 

Fire officials cleared the area around 5:30 a.m. 

The cause of that fire is still under investigation.Â
