DONGOLA, Ill. -- A school board in one聽southern Illinois school voted to move the majority of their high school students to attend a neighboring school for the next school year.
The Dongola Unit School District #66 Board of Education voted to send high school students from Freshman through Juniors to attend Vienna High School for the 2024-2025 school year.
The decision came during a board meeting on Tuesday night, according to the school.
As far as the 12th grade students, the school will be in communication with the families on their high school options.
