ULLIN, Ill. (WSIL) -- A new agreement between a well known university and a local college has a new partnership in place.
Shawnee Community College and Arizona State University have solidified a partnership to help students transition easier to the university.
This new partnership helps ease the transition process using the MyPath2ASU program.
“This agreement with Arizona State University is a game-changer for our students at Shawnee Community College. By providing a seamless transition to one of the nation’s top universities, we’re opening doors to exciting opportunities and ensuring our students can pursue their academic and career goals. This partnership reflects our commitment to student success and our mission to empower the communities we serve,� said SCC President Tim Taylor.
Shawnee Community College stated there are a number of benefits with this new program, including...
- Personalized guidance through over 400 course-by-course guided pathways to ASU online and in-person degree programs, ensuring that Shawnee Community College coursework aligns with their desired ASU major and minimizes credit loss.
- Guaranteed general admission to ASU and admission into MyPath2ASU major choice if all requirements are satisfied.
- Self-service, degree progress tracking to help students stay informed about their academic progress.
- A connected experience with ASU through personalized communications that support academic growth and community engagement.
This is designed to help students with guidance on selecting courses and provides direction on various pathways, exams, student resources and more.
