MCCRACKEN COUNTY (WSIL) -- A woman is now in custody after an eviction turned into a standoff.

Deputies went to 219 Georgia Street to execute a Writ of Possession Tuesday. The tenants had been evicted and a judge has signed the order to remove the tenants from the house and campers on the property.

When deputies knocked on the door of a camper and stated the reason for showing up, someone inside said they had a firearm and someone was going to get shot.

During the incident, a woman exited the camper through a window. She told detectives another woman, later identified as Cynthia Javor, had a pistol and was threatening to kill herself because she did not want to go to jail.

During this, Paducah 911 Dispatch received a call from Javor. The call was transferred to Sheriff Matt Carter and Chief Bailiff Melissa Dillon, a trained negotiator. who talked to Javor for approx. 20 minutes.

A second person, Javor's son, also exited the camper through a window during this time.

Deputies also learned that Javor had several warrants for her arrest.

A short time later Javor dropped the pistol, later found to be a pellet gun, out the same window and then exited the camper herself.

After being medically evaluated, Javor was taken into custody and transported to the McCracken County Jail. Javor was charged with two (2) counts of Unlawful Imprisonment Second Degree as well as the four warrants which were for a Bond Revocation (Possession of Methamphetamine and other offenses), an Indictment Warrant for Bail Jumping 1st Degree, and two Contempt of Court warrants.
