MURPHYSBORO, IL (WSIL) -- The first-ever Big Muddy Monster Festival is Saturday, June 24 in Murphysboro.
Organizers say the festival will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first sightings of the Big Muddy Monster.
They'll have film screenings, guest speakers, sighting tours and a 5K Run/Walk.
