Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau and Thebes
.Minor flooding has begun on the Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau.
The river is forecast to reach flood stage Saturday morning at Thebes.
The river will crest in minor flood stage Monday at both locations, but
flooding is forecast to continue until further notice.
The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Thebes
* from Saturday morning until further notice.
* At 7:00 PM Thursday the stage was 31.3 feet.
* Flood Stage is 33.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast…Rise above flood stage by late Saturday morning and
continue to rise to near 34.0 feet by Monday morning.
* Impact…At 34.0 Feet…The town of Thebes begins to flood.
