MARION (WSIL) -- The legendary rock band Grand Funk Railroad will headline the annual Will Rock For Food Concert series.
J.R. Russell from the Maron Ministerial Alliance made the announcement during an interview on News 3 This Morning.

Grand Funk Railroad is a 70s American rock band from Flint, MI with a long list of hit songs. Some of their chart-toppers include "We're an American Band", "Some Kind of Wonderful", "Locomotion" and many more.
The opening act will be local favorites, “The Jeff Pritchett Project�. These local musicians have performed the Will Rock for Food Concert series since the beginning.
Russell said this is the 9th year for the benefit concert series that raises money for the Marion Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry and soup kitchen.
