Herrin House of Hope Presents Hope Fest

HERRIN, Ill. -- The Herrin House of Hope presents Hope Fest, a Christian rock and alternative music festival, Saturday, October 26.

This is a fundraiser and celebratory event in partnership with the Hands of Hope Foundation and The Subculture.

It takes place at Community of Faith Church in Marion. 

The event features a day of music along with the Hope Fest 5K Walk/Run & Kid's Fun Run, Hope Fest Biker Zone, and the Epic Shred-off, presented by Hope Fest & Zombie Guitars.

There will also be a food court.

Hope Fest is the First Christian Rock & Alternative Music Festival in more than 30 years to hit Southern Illinois.

It was created to celebrate and support the "Phase 2 Project" which will include the Hope Community Wellness Gap Clinic, Hope Emergency Shelter & House of Hope Commodities Dist. Center in Herrin, IL that are being developed by a partnership with The Hands of Hope Foundation and The Herrin House of Hope both 501(c)3 non-profits organizations serving the southern Illinois community.

Senior Anchor

Mark is senior anchor at WSIL, co-anchoring the weekday evening newscasts at 5:00, 6:00, 6:30, and 10:00. He recently celebrated 39 years of being on-air at WSIL and in September of 2024, he marked 41 total years at WSIL.
