16-Year-Old Out of Franklin County Located after Deemed Missing, Alert Canceled

SESSER, Ill. (WSIL) -- UPDATE: September 21, 5:39 p.m. -- Authorities in Franklin County have canceled the missing person for Allie Carter and stated she has been located.

ORIGINAL: Authorities are looking for the public's help in finding a 16-year-old female who is considered missing out of Franklin County on Saturday.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office shared information with the public about Allie E. Carter, 16, who was last seen leaving Old Town Drive in Sesser in a vehicle.

Authorities reported the vehicle has been located.

Carter was last seen wearing black shorts and a t-shirt and possibly in the Centralia area. She is 5'2" tall, weighing 130 lbs. with brown hair and hazel eyes.
