CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- The Carbondale PTO will hold its first Fall Festival coming up in October.
The Carbondale Parent-Teacher Organization announced the family-friendly event to take place on Thursday, October 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Carbondale Middle School.
At the event will be carnival games for children of all ages, food and refreshments and live entertainment. There will also be bounce houses and a silent auction.
“We are thrilled to bring the community together for our first Fall Festival,� said PTO President Emily Zurlinden. “This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to have some fun while supporting our schools. We are grateful for the support from our volunteers, sponsors, and the entire Carbondale community.�
Money raised at the Fall Festival will go towards funding educational programs, school supplies and extracurricular activities for students across the district.
