THOMPSONVILLE, Ill. -- Authorities are urging drivers to avoid a section of highway near Thompsonville as emergency workers respond to a motor vehicle crash.
The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency alerted the public at 4:17 p.m. about a motor vehicle accident at State Highway 149 and New Lake Road in Franklin County.
They are urging motorists to avoid the area and take alternative routes of travel.
Emergency services are responding to the scene.
