Sesser gets $110K grant to clean up city, improve safety

SESSER, Ill. (WSIL) -- The City of Sesser received a significant grant from the Illinois Housing Development Authority which will go towards helping clean up the city.

A city representative said the $110,000 grant will help eliminate dilapidated structures and cover other eligible expenses in the community.

The city expressed gratitude to Gov. J.B. Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Housing Authority for providing these vital funds.

This funding aims to improve the community's safety and appearance, benefiting residents and enhancing local development.
