WALTONVILLE, Ill. -- The community of Waltonville will soon cut the ribbon for their new fire station this weekend.
The Waltonville Fire Protection District will kick off the grand opening on Sunday, September 8, at 2 p.m. at the new fire station at IL 148 and Nason Lane, east of Waltonville.
There will be a ribbon cutting, plus an open house through 4 p.m.
The fire department's apparatuses will be displayed, along with refreshments, cupcakes and Bubba Too's world famous pizza.
