(WSIL) -- Kennett, Missouri police are mourning the loss of one of their own.
Lieutenant Craig Moody died Wednesday night at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
The department says, Moody started as a part-time firefighter in 1992.
He was then hired as City Engineer before joining the Police Department as a patrolman in 1999.
Services are scheduled for Monday at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
