REIDLAND, Ky. (WSIL) -- One person was sent to a hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday night.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said their deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash in the area of Highway 68 and Highway 62 at 8:25 p.m. on December 26.

The sheriff's office said a 46-year-old from Grand Rivers was driving a 2004 Jeep Liberty going east on Highway 68 when it crashed with a 2021 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by a 55-year-old woman from Sunrise Beach, Missouri, who was trying to turn on Highway 62 from Highway 68.

The 46-year-old was later taken to a local hospital for injuries in the crash, county officials said.

The Reidland Farley Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS and Jason’s Collision Center assisted the McCracken County Sheriff's Office at the scene.
