TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. Kentucky State Police (KSP) reports that Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree has pleaded guilty to two counts of official misconduct and two counts of menacing on Tuesday.

KSP said an investigation, back in the fall of 2022, uncovered multiple instances where misconduct and other offenses occurred.

They examined digital forensic evidence which led to Acree charged with multiple misdemeanors in Trigg County.

Acree was sentenced to 24 months of probation.

He was elected sheriff of Trigg County in September of 2020 and re-elected as sheriff in 2022.
