Update: Police find escaped inmate from Calloway County

CALLOWAY COUNTY, KENTUCKY (WSIL) -- The Sheriff's office says Dorsey Jake Hutson is now in custody.Ìý

Authorities found the escaped inmate in Effingham, Illinois. They took Huston into custody the evening of June 14th.Ìý

The Calloway County Sheriff is thanking those who helped with his apprehension.Ìý

Police are looking for a man they say escaped the Calloway County Jail.

Investigators believe Dorsey 'Jake' Hutson escaped around 4:39 a.m. Sunday. Hutson was being held on multiple charges including parole violation, burglary, assault (domestic violence), criminal mischief, fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, unlawful imprisonment and various other traffic charges.

Anyone who sees Hutson is asked not to approach him and call police.
