CARBONDALE (WSIL) -- Kids in Carbondale were able to get back to summer camp this week. The Science Center in the University Mall is holding their annual Camper's Choice Camp.
The Camp allows the kids to pick their favorite science experiments and bring them to life. The experiments not only teach the kids about science but work on their problem solving and communication skills.
"I never know what's going to come next. It's really fun. Kids tell me what's one of my programs they like. It's excellent feedback, it's a great way to get it. They tell me why they like it. They tell me what they want to do and I think that is wonderful. I love to hear back from them," says Connie Adams, Director of Programming.
Educators and kids were just thrilled to be back at camp. Adams says she hopes to have more programs throughout the school year.
