MARION (WSIL) -- Multiple fire agencies are on scene of a large brush fire in Marion.
The fire started in a field near Longstreet Rd and Route 37, just north of Route 13. It began as a prescribed burn, but due to high winds, it spread out of control.
Route 37 was closed to traffic in both directions for about an hour.
The blaze appears to be contained at this time. There have been no reports of any injuries.
