You could call it a Financial Literacy 101 course, condensed into 3 hours of extractible and applicable knowledge. It's the Make Me Bankable event, happening on Thursday, April 17 at the American Legion Post 147 in Marion. The program, held from 9 a.m. until noon, cram-packs typically difficult issues like demystifying credit, debt and borrowing and enhanced bankability into a 3 hour crash course on entrepreneurship. Plus, they don't give you all of that information and just walk away; attendees will have access to a free Operation Hope Credit Counselor.
