...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON CDT /1 PM EDT/ TODAY TO
7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values 100 to 108 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...From noon CDT /1 PM EDT/ today to 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/
Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The first prolonged stretch of heat and
humidity of the season will amplify health impacts. Health impacts
will build with each successive day in the heat and humidity.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Marion remains undefeated vs. Centralia

MARION (WSIL) � The Marion Wildcats celebrate their homecoming by remaining undefeated with a win against Centralia tonight.

Marion got on the board early in the first quarter when Lucas Will connected with Venson Newsom for a 35-yard touchdown.

Midway through the first quarter, Centralia’s Hayden Monor passed 16 yards to Davin Tabor in the end zone.  

Wildcats led 14-7 at the half, and they added 30 more points in the second half, beating the Orphans with a final of 44-7.
