Authorities Find Abandoned Car Tied to a Reported Fight, Charges Pending

NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo. -- Authorities are investigating a report of fight in progress in New Madrid County.

The New Madrid County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a home on North 6th Street in Lilbourn on August 23.

Deputies said when they got to the scene, the person they were looking for already left in a vehicle.

Later on, deputies reportedly found the vehicle abandoned on a road.

The sheriff's office said they have identified this person and charges are pending.
