BOLLINGER COUNTY, Mo. -- Authorities are investigating some activity in southeast Missouri.
Special Agent Joshua Morrill with the Squad 6 - Financial Crimes and Health Care Fraud with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, St. Louis Division, confirmed to News 3 the FBI is assisting the Missouri State Highway Patrol with court-authorized investigative activity in Bollinger County on Wednesday.
Morrill confirmed this information to News 3 on July 24, however, it is unknown at this time when the investigation started. Morrill also stated no further comment will be made at this time due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
News 3 has reached out to Missouri State Highway Patrol for comment.
