One Faces Charges Relating to School Threats in Cape Girardeau, School Reports

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- The Cape Girardeau Public Schools updated the public on recent threats in their district which resulted in one person facing charges.

The school alerted families and the public about an update in relation to the multiple threats their school district investigated recently.

The school stated a suspect was quickly identified while investigating the threats. This person has been detained and is facing serious charges, the school added.

The public school also stated they have been working with authorities in this matter and will continue to making sure those who make threats against their school district is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
